Thurston County Zoning data layer. Zoning information for County, Urban Growth Areas, and the Cities of Lacey, Tumwater, Olympia, Rainier, Tenino, Bucoda, and Yelm are complete and updated as required. All information for Jurisdictions other than Thurston County, in this data, should be confirmed with that Jurisdiction directly.
This layer is built into the Jurisdictions layer, based upon the Jurisdiction field that is used in the nightly combo table process that informs the Permitting Jurisdiction in Amanda and the Parcel Information Report. The layer is maintained to be parcel specific where appropriate however errors may be introduced due to the shift of parcels with in the Assessor’s parcel layer.
Updates are made to the layer as annexations occur. This update may include not only a change in the listed Jurisdiction but, depending on the action taken by the Jurisdiction in question, it may also include a change in Zoning Type.
Thurston County (Jurisdiction) Zoning is designated in the Thurston County Comprehensive Plan. Joint Plans are also maintained for Bucoda, Lacey, Olympia, Rainier, Tenino, Tumwater and Yelm as a part of this policy.

The dataset consists of tiled orthogonal imagery produced from nadir images captured by Pictometry International. Automatic aerial triangulation (AAT) was performed. The triangulated frames were rectified to a DEM. Mosaicking was performed using an automatic seaming algorithm and manually edited to eliminate seams through elevated features where possible.

Leica geosystems ADS80 SH82 for areas of the Thurston County, WA project area July 3 - July 14, 2018. The project encompassed an area of approximately 806 square miles. A Leica ADS80 SH82 Digital Camera system
including an inertial measuring unit (IMU) and a dual frequency airborne GPS receiver was used for the digital image acquisition. Imagery acquisition was performed July 3 - July 14, 2018 at 2400 feet AMT (3\") 4800 feet AMT (6\")
(above mean terrain), with 30 percent sidelap between the flight lines. Ground control survey was provided by the True North Land Surveying and supplemented with existing control.
Digital orthophotos in 8-bit RGB and 16-bit CIR (4-band)GeoTIFF format were produced with resolutions of 3\" and 6\" utilizing the ADS80 SH82 imagery and the newly-produced auto-correlated DSM (digital surface model) from the 2018 imagery.
Delivery was on an External Hard Drive.
Digital aerial imagery for Washington state was collected by Hexagon as part of the 2019 NAIP Imaging Program. Imagery was collected between June 30, 2019 and November 2, 2019 using Leica ADS100 digital camera systems. The project was flown at heights ranging from 16,500 ft msl to 20,500 ft msl resulting in a nominal GSD of 30cm. Four band images were collected to support both 3-band natural color (RGB) and false color infrared (FCIR) orthoimage products. Aerotriangulation and orthorectification were done with the Leica Xpro software package, version 6.4 and ortho mosaics were created with Inpho Orthovista 8.0. 4-band RGBN 8-bit Ortho images were created in a DOQQ tiling scheme.Date stamps for Thurston County flights are 08/05/19, 08/26/19, 10/10/19

Four band images were collected to support both 3-band natural color (RGB) and false color infrared(FCIR) orthoimage products. Aerotriangulation and orthorectification were done with the Leica Xpro software package,version 6.3 and ortho mosaics were created with Inpho Orthovista 7.0. 4-band RGBN 8-bit Ortho images were createdin a DOQQ tiling scheme. Products are in the UTM map projection, NAD83 (HARN) datum, in meters. The data wasreprojected by Washington Department of Natural Resources into Stateplane South/ North HARN and non-HARNdependinig on county requests.Date stamps for Thurston County flights are 07/31/17, 09/01/17
